Centro is committed to eliminating coal usage across all owned and contracted Tier 1 and Tier 2 manufacturing sites producing for Primark. This transition will be completed no later than 2030, ensuring cleaner energy practices across our supply chain. Scope 3 Emissions Reduction
With the support of expert third-party collaborators, we have conducted a comprehensive assessment of our Scope 3 emissions—specifically Category 1 (Purchased Goods and Services) and Category 4 (Upstream Transportation and Distribution)—for Primark production. Based on this analysis, we are committing to a science-based target of reducing these emissions by 42% by 2030, using 2024 as our baseline year. This ambitious target is fully aligned with the SBTi Net Zero Standard (v1.2) and reinforces our commitment to the Paris Agreement’s 1.5°C climate goal. These commitments reflect our ongoing dedication to transparency, innovation, and climate action.
