World Emblem Breaks Ground on New 100,000 sq. ft. Factory in Dominican Republic
On August 12, World Emblem, the world’s largest manufacturer of emblems and patches, held a groundbreaking ceremony for its upcoming 100,000-square-foot facility in the Tamboril Free Trade Zone. This strategic expansion is designed to bolster the company’s supply chain, improve operational efficiency, and support its ongoing growth.
The new facility is expected to create approximately 100 jobs in its initial phase, with employment projected to rise to as many as 500 positions as operations expand.
World Emblem CEO Randy Carr attended the event alongside Victor “Ito” Bisonó, Minister of Industry and Commerce of the Dominican Republic, and Daniel Liranzo, Director of the National Free Zone Council. Also present were Pablo Granados, General Manager of Tamboril Free Zone, and Mícalo Bermúdez, President of Tamboril Free Zone, underscoring the significance of this investment for both the company and the local economy.

The new factory in Santiago represents a major step forward in World Emblem’s mission to enhance manufacturing capabilities while contributing to economic growth in the Dominican Republic.
