South Korean Investment in Mongla EPZ

Share BEPZA has signed an agreement with South Korea’s OCF Co. Ltd. They will invest US$8.06 million in Mongla EPZ to set up a manufacturing facility for tents, camping furniture, accessories, and bags. This is OCF’s second project under BEPZA, reflecting their continued trust in Bangladesh as an investment destination. BEPZA Executive Chairman Major General Abul Kalam Mohammad Ziaur Rahman, BSP, ndc, psc, thanked OCF for their confidence and encouraged them to act as an ambassador in bringing more South Korean investments to Bangladesh, especially in the EPZs. The new factory will create 820 jobs for Bangladeshi nationals and strengthen BEPZA’s drive to diversify export products. Next article #
