Rashedul Hasan Rintu takes charge of Narsingdi Chamber

Rashedul Hasan Rintu has been elected as the President of the Narsingdi Chamber of Commerce and Industry for the 2024-2026 term. The election was held on 21 December 2024, following the Trade Organisations Rules, 1994. With no competing candidates for the presidential position, Mr. Rintu was declared elected by the Election Board on 30 December 2024.

In addition to his new role, Mr. Rintu has held several key positions, including former Director of the Narsingdi Chamber, President of the Chowala Textile Crafts Owners Association, and Proprietor of Manchester Composites and Arham Malti Trading. Known for his industrial and social contributions, Mr. Rintu expressed gratitude for the trust placed in him by the Narsingdi business community.

In his acceptance speech, Mr. Rintu pledged to address the challenges faced by traders in the region and work towards the holistic development of the Chamber. He emphasized that this election provides him with an opportunity to rectify past inequalities and advance the interests of Narsingdi’s business community. Seeking cooperation from all stakeholders, he vowed to dedicate himself to solving traders’ problems and enhancing the Chamber’s role in economic progress.
