Teijin Frontier launches grievance mechanism to protect human rights across its global supply chains

To accelerate response to and resolution of grievances reported via the hotline, Teijin Frontier is collaborating with the Global Alliance for Sustainable Supply Chain (ASSC), a non-governmental organization dedicated to resolving supply chain issues. Demand for greater corporate social responsibility and respect for human rights, along with an increasing emphasis on environmental, social and governance (ESG) factors, has led companies to establish systems that appropriately address violations. To support this trend, Teijin Frontier issued the Teijin Frontier Group Human Rights Policy in 2021, declaring its commitment to respecting human rights across its supply chains. Subsequently, in recognition of the importance of early identification and rapid resolution of risks to human rights and workplace safety, Teijin Frontier created the supplier hotline. Through this mechanism, the company intends to further strengthen its efforts toward realizing a sustainable society. **How the Teijin Frontier Supplier Hotline workss
