LOS ANGELES - Chinese recycled textile specialist Shenghong Holding has announced a strategic partnership with US materials science company Ambercycle to scale the production of regenerated filament yarns made with the latter’s Cycora-branded recycled polyester. Los Angeles-based start-up Ambercycle employs molecular regeneration technology which uses enzymes to break down PET into environmentally benign monomers.
