Share The Department of Textile Engineering at Sonargaon University (SU) organized a seminar titled โ๐๐ฎ๐ฟ๐ฒ๐ฒ๐ฟ ๐๐๐ถ๐น๐ฑ๐๐ฝ & ๐๐ฒ๐๐ฒ๐น๐ผ๐ฝ๐บ๐ฒ๐ป๐ ๐ถ๐ป ๐๐ต๐ฒ ๐ฅ๐ ๐ ๐ฆ๐ฒ๐ฐ๐๐ผ๐ฟโ, aimed at providing students with industry insights and guidance for building successful careers in the Ready-Made Garments sector. The event was honored by the presence of the Honorable Vice Chancellor, Professor Shamim Ara Hasan, who attended as the Chief Guest. The Pro Vice Chancellor (Acting), Professor Bulbul Ahamed, was present as the Guest of Honor, while Brigadier General (Retd.) Professor Habibur Rahman Kamal, ndc, psc, Dean of the Faculty of Science & Engineering, SU, attended as the Special Guest. The keynote address was delivered by M.J Ferdaus, Regional Country Manager of DeFacto Bangladesh Liaison Office, who shared valuable perspectives on global trends and professional growth in the RMG industry. A panel of distinguished speakers enriched the seminar with their practical experiences and expertise. These included Sk. Mamun Ferdoush, General Manager (Marketing & Merchandising) at Masco Group; Chandra Shekhar Das, DGM (Marketing & Merchandising) at Cotton Field Bd. Ltd. (Mondol Group); Rehan Asif, Regional HR Manager at Carterโs; Rahul Amin, Director (Marketing & Merchandising) at Debonair Group; Kiron Morshed, General Manager (Marketing & Merchandising) at Vertex RMG Division; Khelafat Md Benjer, Head of Strategic Customer Businesses Unit at Li & Fung; Anisul Haque, Assistant Manager (Merchandising) at Next Sourcing Services Ltd.; and Biswas Zubaer Anam, Deputy Manager (Marketing & Merchandising) at Epyllion Group. The program was chaired by Engr. Mohammad Abdul Baset, Associate Professor and Head of the Department of Textile Engineering, SU. The seminar created an engaging platform for students to interact with professionals, explore career pathways, and better understand the dynamics of the ever-evolving RMG sector. #
