Consumer goods and services in the Netherlands were 2.9 per cent more expensive in July this year than a year earlier, according to Statistics Netherlands (CBS). Inflation in June was 3.1 per cent. The July inflation rate is the same as the flash estimate published on August 1. Inflation is measured each month as the increase in the consumer price index (CPI) relative to a year earlier.
