Share The Centre for Research and Innovation in Science, Arts & Technology (CRISAT) successfully hosted the first session of its R&I Webinar Series on Saturday, 19 July 2025, attracting enthusiastic participation from students and early-career researchers across Bangladesh and beyond. The webinar, titled “Textile Higher Education and DAAD Scholarship in Germany” was moderated by Dr. Abu Sadat M. Sayem, representing CRISAT, who guided a lively and informative discussion on academic application strategies, research environments in Europe, and tips for successfully navigating the DAAD scholarship process. The following panellists – Dr. Gaffar Hossain from V-Trion GmbH, Austria; Dr.-Ing. Mahmud Hossain from TU Dresden, Germany and Mr. Adnan Maroof Khan from TU Dresden, Germany joined as resource persons and offered timely and practical insights into pursuing higher education in Germany with the support of the DAAD Scholarship. The event offered a unique platform for participants to interact directly with international experts, ask questions, and gain clarity on educational pathways abroad, especially within the textile and fashion domains.
