Share KARL MAYER STOLL Textilmaschinenfabrik GmbH has announced the appointment of Christian Botschek as Managing Director, effective 1st July 2025. He will lead the company alongside Axel Wintermeyer.

A mechanical engineer by training, Botschek has been a part of the KARL MAYER Group since 2005, holding several key roles across logistics, assembly, and technology. Over the years, he has played a vital role in enhancing the company’s global profitability through process optimisation and improved customer benefits. He previously managed the overall assembly and logistics centre at the company’s Obertshausen headquarters, before moving to China as Chief of Technology. There, he contributed significantly to the development and expansion of the company’s Changzhou site. In 2023, Botschek was appointed Deputy Managing Director of KARL MAYER China, while also serving as Managing Director of KARL MAYER Technische Textilien GmbH. In his new role on the Management Board of KARL MAYER STOLL Textilmaschinenfabrik, Botschek will oversee assembly, production, and prototype construction, with a strong focus on long-term profitability. “I want to help make processes more efficient, reduce waste, and sustainably strengthen our performance in production. Our ambition is to work economically successfully — with consistently high customer satisfaction,” said Botschek.
