Frankfurt, Germany – The 4-day Heimtextil international home textiles expo last week continued to rebuild in its third post-pandemic outing.
The show drew more than 50,000 buyers – up 10% from last year, according to organizer Messe Frankfurt. The last pre-pandemic Heimtextil, held in early January 2020, pulled 63,000 attendees. The 2024 event drew more than 46,000 visitors.
Heimtextil 2025 featured more than 3,000 exhibitors, 96% of which were from outside Germany. Among the top ten exhibiting countries were China, India, Pakistan, Turkey, Germany, Italy, Spain, Portugal and Belgium.
On the visitor side, the internationality increased to 84%. Growth in attendance came from Argentina, France, Great Britain, India, Italy, Japan, Canada, the Netherlands, Sweden, South Korea, Spain, the United States and the United Arab Emirates.
“In times of persistent inflation and low purchasing power, resilience and market presence are key. This is exactly how Heimtextil enabled industry and retail: to access new markets and thus actively shape global competition,” said Detlef Braun, member of Messe Frankfurt’s Executive Board.
Heimtextil 2026 will take place from Jan. 13-16.
