Urmi Group has been honored with the “Appreciation Award” by GIZ Bangladesh for our pivotal role in the HELD Project (Higher Education and Leadership Development for Sustainable Textiles).
As part of this initiative, we have:
- Validated sustainability curriculums for diploma textile institutes.
- Established a Resource Centre in Sirajganj, offering textile raw materials and waste for educational and showcasing purposes.
This award reflects our commitment to education, leadership, and sustainability in textiles. We thank GIZ Bangladesh for the recognition and remain dedicated to driving positive change for a more sustainable future.
