Greensboro, N.C. – Unifi is taking the wraps off a new multi-functional sustainable yarn for home furnishings, apparel and footwear.
The new Integr8 yarn is made using Unifi’s Repreve recycled polyester. Integr8 is a spandex-free stretch yarn that combines softness with moisture management and offers cutting-edge functionality for a wide range of applications. The traceable yarn is design to elevate the performance and functionality of woven, knit and seamless products.
The continuous filament yarn delivers an ultra-soft hand feel, comfort stretch, evaporative cooling, UPF protection, and easy-care, low-wrinkle properties. Certain properties may be dependent on fabric construction, Unifi noted.
Integr8 is fully traceable through Repreve’s FiberPrint technology and is certified by U-Trust, along with Oeko-Tex, GRS, and SCS certifications for recycled content.
Unifi will showcase Integr8 during Première Vision Paris, taking place Feb. 11-13 at the Paris Nord Villepinte convention center.
