
Turkiye’s industrial production index increased by 7 per cent year on year (YoY) and 5 per cent month on month (MoM) in December last year, according to the Turkish Statistical Institute (Turkstat).
The index for manufacturing increased by 6.8 per cent YoY and 5.6 per cent MoM in the month.

The index for durable consumer goods rose by 1.1 per cent YoY and 2.3 per cent MoM and the index for capital goods rose by 20 per cent YoY and 14.7 per cent MoM.

The index for intermediate goods increased by 0.4 per cent YoY and 3.2 per cent MoM and that for energy increased by 11.3 per cent YoY and 0.5 per cent MoM in the month, a Turkstat release said.
The index for non-durable consumer goods dropped by 0.3 per cent YoY and increased by 1.9 per cent MoM in the month.
