Shapeshifter and Impress-Newtex Composite Textiles Ltd. Partner to Drive Fabric Efficiency and Cut-Plan Automation

Shapeshifter, a leading cloud-based fabric and resource hyper-automation platform, has partnered with Impress-Newtex Composite Textiles Ltd. (INCTL), the apparel manufacturing division of Impress Group, to deliver significant savings in fabric usage through improved marker efficiencies as well as improved operational efficiencies through smart cut-plans, all in a single hybrid automated process.

Founded more than 20 years ago in New Zaland , Shapeshifter uses intelligent algorithms and high-speed processing to optimise fabric utilisation across styles and purchase orders simultaneously. The platform integrates seamlessly with ERP and CAD systems to automate marker generation, cut-plan creation, fabric costing, ordering, and reporting—helping manufacturers reduce waste, lower lead times, and improve profitability. Importantly, the solution comes with no upfront investment costs, allowing factories to deploy the system without capital expenditure.

In Bangladesh, Shapeshifter works through its official partner, A&A Global Consultants, which supports clients with strategy, business development, sales, and full implementation of the solution.

Impress-Newtex Composite Textiles Ltd., a key player in Bangladesh’s knitwear sector, supplies leading brands across the US and EU. Known for its focus on innovation and operational excellence, the company is now leveraging Shapeshifter’s automation capabilities to further strengthen its efficiency and competitiveness in the global RMG market.

The partnership marks another milestone in the adoption of smart manufacturing technologies in Bangladesh, signalling a shift towards data-driven decision-making and resource optimisation in the country’s RMG sector.
