From BGMEA, were present President Mahmud Hasan Khan, First Vice President Salim Rahman, Directors Md. Hasib Uddin, Nafis Ud Doula, Sumaiya Islam, and Joarder Mohammed Hosne Quamar Alam while NIRAPON was represented by Simone Sultana, Nirapon Board Chair, and Mehdi Hasan, Manager Safety Management, LRQA.

The discussion, held at BGMEA Complex, focused on aligning standards, addressing practical challenges faced by diverse factories, and strengthening communication mechanisms to ensure clarity and efficiency in compliance processes.

Both sides emphasized the importance of balancing safety requirements with economic sustainability, while jointly reaffirming their commitment to advancing worker well-being and sustaining Bangladesh’s competitiveness in the global apparel market
