High Point Market Authority preps for spring Design Influences Tour, accepting applications

High Point, N.C. – The High Point Market Authority is taking applicants for its Design Influencers Tour program for the upcoming spring High Point Market, April 26-30. Interior designers and other design-focused influencers must apply by Feb. 14 to be considered.

During the April market, 10 design influencers will tour sponsoring showrooms for two days (April 27-28) to identify their top home furnishing and decor finds. Candidates will be selected based on their social media or blog following, content quality and posting frequency.

The 10 who are selected as Spring Design Influencers will report, from their unique perspective, on the home furnishings products and other High Point Market experiences they encounter after visiting each stop on the organized tour.

In exchange for participating this season, HPMA and its partner for the program, Esteem Media, will provide a fee for creator services, along with accommodations for travel expenses.

“The Design Influencers Tour also benefits sponsoring showrooms,” said Tammy Covington, HPMA president and CEO. “These exhibitors will enjoy the spotlight as our design influencers share their findings on social media.”

Prospective influencers must complete the online submission form by 5 p.m. ET, Feb. 14.

High Point Market exhibitors interested in learning more about the biannual program and sponsoring tours may email for details.
