As global industries adapt to rapid technological progress, shifting market dynamics, and increasing sustainability demands, the technical textiles and nonwovens sector is undergoing significant change. Reflecting these shifts, this year’s Cinte Techtextil China will feature a restructured fringe programme, organised into four strategic themes: Sustainability, Artificial Intelligence, Innovation, and Industry Insight. The event, taking place from 3 – 5 September 2025 at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre, promises an engaging mix of sessions, expert panels, product showcases, and guided tours aimed at equipping industry stakeholders with the insights needed to thrive in the evolving landscape.
“This industry often leads the textile sector’s innovations, so keeping pace with environmental regulations and fast-developing technology is critical,” said Ms Wilmet Shea, General Manager of Messe Frankfurt (HK) Ltd. “Our refreshed fringe programme focuses on four vital themes, each designed to address the key transformation drivers in technical textiles and nonwovens. Through topical discussions, case studies, and collaborative showcases, we aim to promote the innovation exchange that is central to Cinte Techtextil China.”
