Lavoisier’s famous law becomes the guiding thread that inspires Iluna Group’s strategy, creative journey, and production process. Now more than ever, it is difficult to speak of “creation” in fashion, but as Federica Annovazzi, Creative Director of Iluna Group, states: “Today, the true art, the real skill, lies in transforming what we already have – which is immense for those who know where and how to look and have invested in researching ingredients and process technologies. Change is always connected to event, while transformation is always a process… a cultural, intellectual, and even productive process. Values are deeply interconnected. Iluna has chosen to focus on processes to give life to new forms of creativity through constantly evolving transformations with personal, innovative, and conscious perspectives on their impacts.”
In honor of Milano Unica, looking at Iluna Group through more fashion glasses, we provide these SS2026 highlights: Plissé and Volants are the seasonal styling tips, which also come in a lurex form, as well as fresh floreal prints that are GOTS certified and demonstrate great water savings. In addition, a plethora of metallic gleams will be displayed, created with lurex and GRS approved foils.

For next summer, Iluna Group has focused in developing 3 inspiration moods:
Simpleness: the challenges of everyday life often evoke days overloaded with commitments, expectations, and noise. Yet, true beauty is often found in letting go and returning to the essence. Simplicity is not about the absence of something, but the abundance of what truly matters: genuine relationships, time for oneself, and the joy of life’s small pleasures. Our focus turns to Ken Scott, known as “the gardener of fashion”, with his flowers blooming across fabrics and outfits.
Essences: water as an essential element, a timeless connection to the earth, and an invisible, fundamental thread that marks the unceasing evolution of every living organism. A source of life that evolves, adapts, and continually renews itself in a perpetual cycle of purity. Our thoughts turn to the representation of fluidity and the art of movement, intertwining body and mind, as embodied by Iris Van Herpen. A philosophy of sensory design has given rise to more conscious forms of creativity. Shape and matter transform and mold themselves to represent movement and the fluidity of nature’s forces.
Divine: eastern flowers carry delicate and mysterious messages that trace a spirituality and aesthetic transcending time. Each flower expresses a “dreamlike” geometry, telling its own story and conveying a message of sensuality and connection with nature. Guo Pei, with her artistic representations blending the etiquette of Chinese imperial style, European Royal fashion, architecture, and botany, helps us visualize the essence of this theme.
Iluna Group, a pioneering firm in the field of sustainability and champion of continuous research for low-impact environmental solutions and maximum respect for the world, has been GRS recognized for its sustainable Green Label range since 2018. A collection that provides a new responsible attitude to the environment and people, integrating innovation, aesthetics, and quality on all levels.
Iluna can provide full control and absolute traceability of the entire manufacturing chain, from polymer to finished lace, and use the Higgs Index to measure the company’s sustainable growth.
Over time, the company’s share of sustainable production has progressively expanded, rising from 3% in 2018 to more than 50% by 2022. Since 2016, the company has manufactured 7.5 million meters of Green Label lace with 92,810 kg of GRS-certified recycled polyamide, saving 1.5 million liters of water. Recent product breakthroughs include customisable GRS Lurex nets with equally certified prints, special finishes such as printing and flocking, and materials such as organic cotton, FSC-certified mass-dyed viscose, and ROICA EF, a premium recycled elastomer from the ROICA Eco Smart line.
