The textile and clothing industry is evolving fast, demanding new skills and digital expertise. The EU-funded E-DRESS Project (European Digital Readiness Strategy for Clothing Studies) is tackling this challenge by offering free, multilingual online courses, making high-quality education accessible to learners worldwide. By creating an innovative Moodle-based platform, EDRESS is breaking language barriers and ensuring that students, professionals, and educators can learn in their native languages. This project is a game-changer for textile and clothing education, bringing together experts from across Europe to develop specialized courses for the industry. **Who Are the EDRESS Project Partners?
**The project is a collaboration between five leading European universities, each contributing its expertise in textiles, fashion, and digital learning:

**To make the platform more effective, the EDRESS team has conducted training sessions and project meetings in Dresden (Germany) and Liberec (Czech Republic). These events focused on:

  • Training teachers and trainers on digital course development.
  • Enhancing multilingual content for a global audience.
  • Improving online teaching strategies to boost student engagement. Thanks to these efforts, learners can now study in their native languages, connect with international experts, and collaborate beyond borders.
