In his opening remarks, AmCham President Mr. Syed Ershad Ahmed emphasized, “With over 80% of our exports coming from garments, building resilience through diversification and proactive policy is no longer optional—it’s essential.”

Key stakeholders including BGMEA, EPB, BIDA, NBR, US Embassy, and industry leaders discussed energy insecurity, export diversification, productivity gaps, policy reforms, and the path to $100 billion in RMG exports by 2027–28.

With rich insights and calls for greater collaboration, the session reinforced the importance of proactive, coordinated efforts to ensure the sector’s resilience and sustainable growth.

We thank all participants for their valuable contributions and look forward to continuing this crucial conversation.
