Wilmington, Del. — Home décor specialist At Home added another store to its list of closing showrooms.
On Aug. 29, the Coppell, Texas-based retailer filed a document with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware that added its store in Nanuet, N.Y., to its list of stores to close.
When At Home filed for Chapter 11 protection on June 16, it identified 26 of its 260 stores that it planned to close. On July 15, it removed stores in Princeton, N.J., and Wauwatosa, Wis., from the closings list and returned them to normal business operations. It added six more stores to the closings list on July 24, then removed stores in Dedham, Mass., and Leesburg, Va., from the list. On Aug. 21, it added two more stores, Madison, Wis., and Geneva, Ill., to its list of closings.
USA Today is reporting that 29 of At Home’s store closings will be complete by the end of September.
